Overview

British writer of adventure stories, often drawing on his interest in Ancient Egypt, the Middle East, and the occult.  His most famous character is Dr. Fu Manchu, the Chinese supercriminal with a brow like Shakespeare and a face like Satan, “the yellow peril incarnate in one man”.  Dated and, by modern standards, politically incorrect, but fun!
